One of my favorite ways to use tarot is for simple self-care. You can use card draws in so many ways to stay grounded, reduce stress or just take some time out for yourself.

Tarot is more than just a divination tool. By tapping into the wisdom and symbolism of the cards, you can gain deeper insight into your thoughts, feelings, and needs. And from there, you can take practical steps to nurture your mind, body, and spirit.

Get to Know Yourself Better with Tarot

Tarot can reveal insights about our inner selves. By regularly pulling cards and reflecting on their meanings, you can gain a deeper understanding of your own thoughts, feelings, values and desires.

Try doing a simple daily draw, asking the cards “What do I need to know about myself today?” or “How can I best support myself right now?” Pay attention to the cards that come up and how they resonate with you.

Over time, you may start to notice patterns and themes emerging that shine a light on your true nature.make more intentional choices. It’s a quick, easy ritual that can have a big impact.

    While it can be uncomfortable, confronting these darker parts of ourselves is an essential part of self-care. When you acknowledge and integrate your shadows, we can become more whole and self-aware.

    Try pulling a “shadow card” during your readings and reflect on what it might be trying to tell you. How can you work with that energy in a healthy way?

    Remember, your shadows aren’t something to be ashamed of – they’re just a natural part of the human experience. One of my favorite decks for this reading is Lightseers.

    You can also do a “feelings” spread, asking the cards to reveal the root causes of an emotion you’re struggling with, as well as constructive ways to work through it.

    Note: if you tend to find negative meanings and dwell on them in tarot, this might not be the best approach for you, since that could interfere with sleep.
